LIC - Library and Museum Visits

As part of the National Book Week celebration, the UM-LIC Librarians together with the 3rd and 4th year BLIS students had their first visit with the other UM branches and museums last November 22, 2012.

The tour started at UM Panabo branch followed by the Panabo Museum with its antique materials and unique paintings reflecting the culture and traditions of the natives of Panabo.

The next stop was the Tagum branch and at the same time the group then made their way to see the City’s biggest church named Christ the King Cathedral.

The last destination was the “ D’Bone Collector Museum” which displayed thousands of bones from different animals. This was owned by a man named Darrell D. Blatchley who advocates of saving the earth from human destruction.
